Being born 10 years after 1960 I still recognised the "Group W" reference from "Alice's Restaurant", still one of my favourites, but was unaware of its wider use and cultural significance.

There's also a later (live) recording, including the story of Arlo's invitation to President Carter's inauguration, and the conspicuous fact that the length of one gap in one of Nixon's tapes was exactly the same as the original Alice's Restaurant recording ("how many things in the world are exactly 18 minutes and 20 seconds long?").
